It’s nice to have an option to wear something that is extremely comfortable yet still easy on the eyes- fashionwise. To tell the truth I am definately not the biggest fan of wedge sneakers (yuck) but I am getting used to the look of high top sneakers now. This is somewhat surprising, given that I haven’t worn anything sporty (let alone sneakers) in the last 6 years other than when I’m actually doing sports. I would never consider wearing that huge ugly thingies under my casual chic outfits, as a matter of fact during the 1 year I lived in Milan I hated all kinds of sneakers after seeing them on every single teenager in the city. Well, who would know that they were, actually, the generation next.

Sneakers trend is not entirely new though, remember Taylor Tomasi Hill never letting go of her comfortable pairs last year during fashion week, completing her super chic ensambles with extremely sloppy sneakers, giving the whole look a rough edge?

This year, a lot of models (super or non-super) teamed up their pairs with skinny jeans or leather pants.

Here is a list of all the pretty sneakers I’ve found (and some wedges for you, in case there are people out there who are actually interested in getting one of those). I’m thinking about getting myself the Topshop one.
