Girl Crush: Marina Larroude

Rather than a girl she’s a woman though. A real, “everthing you would ever want in a woman” woman. Marina Larroude (whose closet I also adore btw, obviously) is the Market Director of style.com (yes, she is responsible for all the accessory and rtw featured at the site, yes you can always blame her at the bank facing the debt enforcer) and she has been working with the style.com team since early 2006, which is long enough time for her to win us(my) heart with her professional and personal style choices. Thanks to street style photography, she is one of my muses when it comes to pure elegance with a twist. Like Garance Dore said of her: so simple, so perfect…

I have to echo this girl crush. One of the things I love most about Marina Larroude is how she makes fashion so accessible. I have many style icons/muses, but most of those I admire purely for the fashion aesthetic, not necessarily the wearability. Larroude makes it look so easy, like anyone could stroll out the door looking like she does….which you can!

  2. Wow there are so many gorgeous outfits, I love each one more than the last! The first outfit is simple amazing, I’m in love with those shoes!
