Cushion The Blow

pillows3pillows7

Having spent the last two months going crazy over anything interior design related – danish lamps, pot racks, acapulco chairs, factory mirrors, industrial chairs, vintage tins, brass planters…; I realized that there are 4 important things that could enliven and give the definitive character to your home: art, rugs, how you display your books and cushions (followed by lamps, tiles and plants). Since I really have limited time to spare for the blog right now; I thought I could share my pillow frenzy with you. It saves me time and gives you ideas to get the maximum efficiency from a pale area. Either on a solid couch, a bed or just a nook (my favourite!) cushions are the ambassadors of your home; telling people that you just didn’t buy furniture to survive but you actually care about design and living well.

  1. i love pillows because i change my mind // get bored so quickly with what i have, & it’s a much cheaper way to freshen up the look of your home without having to buy new furniture! // great picks — my fave is the black & white tie-dyed! // happy hump-day! xo

  2. This is amazing! I am a college student and I had a pretty bare apartment this summer due to limited decorating funds haha So I took every pillow I had and stuck it on my futon! It really made it look like someone lived there 😛 ‘

    • That’s what I’m talking about!! You don’t even need a futon, you can just put loads of pillow on the floor around a corner and there you have it! 😀

  3. I love throw pillows!!!! They are the perfect prop tool for your hands & head and for bringing life or a fun touch to any space….
