It goes without saying that I have a very different sexiness perception than most people: I prefer a closet full of flat shoes to a pension account, the number of pants I own is almost ten times the number of dresses or skirts and %90 of those pants are tapered and really good at hiding my figure, I wish my boobs were even smaller so I could walk around braless like a little kid and not surprisingly I hate uncomfortable, “sexy” lingerie. My underwear drawer is full of cotton panties, briefs and non-padded bras (and a couple of Bridget Jones worthy grandma pants for skin-tight dresses) all of which I bought out of necessity.
It was Undone, a new Toronto based e-shop, that put lingerie under my radar with their simple, high quality basics so much that I even agreed to squeeze myself in them and willingly show the results to you, which basically is like seas parting in my world. I’m petite but definitely not skinny or toned, absolutely not %100 comfortable with my body – thighs in particular – so people seeing me this naked would have been mortifying had I been wearing anything else. But Undone’s beautiful-and-comfortable-enough-to-be-worn-to-a-gym-or-beach pieces made me feel so good about myself (and gave me the perfect excuse to spend an entire afternoon at the most beautiful B&B in Montreal, Casa Bianca) that I’m actually extremely happy to have worked with Undone. They not only opened my eyes to a new universe of minimal, contemporary underwear for everyday use but also made me love and appreciate my body in a way I otherwise refrained from.
