Peel The Onion

The Fashion Medley

I guess by now you can understand from the lack of outfit posts that I’m constantly struggling with dressing up in winter, and I always thought it was just because of the cold. Sure it was a huge part of it, when it’s -25 your options are down coat or down coat, but as it turns out slush was just as big of a problem. When I can’t wear more than half the boots I own, meaning I’m stuck with combat boots or sneakers if I’m feeling adventurous enough, I can’t seem to create a lot of interesting outfits and I definitely don’t want to be one of those bloggers posing in high heeled sandals in the middle of the snow. Good news is, spring is right around the corner (the weather network says so) and I’m about the peel the onion and start having fun again. Tune in.

  1. I love this look! I love that you added tights underneath as a layering piece because it turned out great! I am going to sound crazy but I wish it was cold in Arizona. I always dream of being able to layer up with coats, but that is not so much the case hear. Instead, its just too hot to wear anything at times, so I feel your pain on running out of things to wear, but at the opposite affect. Anyway love this outfit, and I hope it warms up for you soon!

It’s not crazy at all I actually love layering in chilly weather but it’s just so ridiculously cold here I’d be ok with summer all my life from now on 😛 You should visit here every now and then :) Thank you so much Malu!
