My Style

One Way, Or Another

The Fashion Medley

I don’t know if it’s fashion overdose or just me searching for new styles everyday but symmetrical clothes started to feel boring lately. Shoulders should be unevenly open, trousers or skirts should be wrapped from one side and anything that resists being asymmetrical should be made into one with knots and irregular wraps. For example, if you only have shirts in your wardrobe and don’t want to pay money on a one shoulder or open shoulder top because you think they’re going to go out of style next year; you just put one arm in and not the other one, wrap the sleeve around your waist and button it below your boobs. In this case it’s a distorted wrap shirt, much better than the good old worker girl style if you ask me.

  1. I love this whole look! I like that you thought of an unconventional yet frugal way to switch up the look of your tshirt. I do it all the time with my button down shirts, and I will definitely be doing it with the crazy amount of tshirts that I have. The khaki colored trousers were a good idea with your look, and I also love how you threw a cool statement shoe in there which not only look comfy, but very chic. Great post!

I do the same with my tshirts too! I don’t have a lot of fancy or crazy tops so it’s more a DIY project every time I want to spice things up πŸ™‚
Thank you for your nice comment as usual Malu! πŸ™‚

  2. Omg the pants: Love them! What camera do you use?

  3. Lady you simply nail it every time! I love that you’ve kept it minimal here and yet still make the look exciting with the shapes and proportions that you’ve played with! Perfect styling LOVE!
