The Wedding Guest Quest of ’16

The Wedding Guest Quest of '16

2016 will go in history as the year most people got married, I’m sure of this. Just I alone went to so many weddings this year at one point I found myself looking for $5 vintage dresses that I could pass off as a wedding guest look (no offense to $5 vintage dresses though, if you know how to fish and dry clean right they can be a treasure). I couldn’t find what I’m looking for in that pile so instead I opted for re-using two of my old Zara & Mango gowns for two weddings, I paired an old skirt with a new top for another one and I wore these ACNE, Asos and Zimmermann dresses for the other 3 (just in case you didn’t count, I went to 6 weddings in 3 months and it could have easily been 7 had I had the chance to stay in Turkey for two more weeks).

For a regular human being this would be the end of this pointless story. But apparently a serial killer is after all my friends who wouldn’t get married in the next 365 days so, wait for it, I have at least 4 more weddings to buy dresses for the next year. Keeping in mind the B&B rule (budget&body) I’m on constant look out for sales and great deals on dresses that I know I wouldn’t see on anyone else and that would look distinguishably stylish, utterly cool and subtly sexy. Now I’m definitely not the best dressed guest at every wedding but I’m for sure the one who did the most research all year long, so trust me when I say I got the 25 best wedding guest dresses all under $1000 for you, right here. Strappy dress of my dreams, you’re next.
