Crème Fraîche, Cornmeal, & Pumpkin Coffee Cake + Pepita Streusel from Local Milk I make a post about food once every never because I cook every now and never, unless you count the bachelor pad green lentil soup & plain spinach I still make my husband eat. That doesn’t mean I don’t like to eat though, I love to eat. I live to eat. Eating is my favorite thing in the whole world, with second being looking at beautiful food photos and dreaming someone would make it for me. As luck would have it, I have a wonderful husband who cooks amazing impromptu dishes & an Italian chef friend (yes) who feeds me for pleasure. If you enjoy kitchen time more than me or know someone who does, here are 10 mouth watering pumpkin & butternut squash recipes (including Margy’s stop speaking good butternut squash soup) to prepare for Halloween & beyond. Or just look at them and eat all the candy at home.
Merry Christmas and very happy, sweet holidays to all my followers! This time, my wishes are coming along with the amazing recipes of my wonderful Italian friend Margherita and her must-follow blog La Petite Casserole, for which me and my friend Ali are doing the photo shoots. Having tasted (and packed for dinner take out) all that I’ve ever photographed for her (and more) I must assure you that at the end your taste buds will be even happier than your eyes. Even though her food are %100 Italian, the recipes on the website are both in French and English (talk about multinationality!) with little hints to her life and the story of that recipe. Even if you are a total cooking spaz like me, I know that you enjoy looking at beautiful food photos (and pinning them). So here you go once again, a very Merry Christmas and a delicious new year!
