Gone Rogue

No, in fact, there’s nothing rebellious about my outfit other than the fact that I’m still mad enough to go bare ankle so the name of the post is indeed referring to the latest Star Wars movie which I just saw (and LOVED) today. If you’re following me on Instagram and watched my stories you might know that I’m a big Star Wars fan, one who watches the entire trilogy at least 2-3 times a year (and the battle scenes of the prequels every now and then) and one who was skeptical when Disney first acquired the movie rights but was eventually content after watching The Force Awakens, though not completely satisfied as to why that movie was even necessary in the first place. Rogue One however, managed to exceed all my expectations with an amazing story line and an orgasmic Darth Vader scene (no further spoilers) so I’m a happy little fan today. . Lazy & Lazier

Winter makes me lazy, and I’m willing to bet the end result is far more sloppy than you or anyone you know has ever looked during winter. I’m talking about you wouldn’t recognize me on the street because all I want to wear are wool leggings with short UGGs, long puffy jacket with a beanie and double scarves and I want to wear this everyday. I usually lose my willing to go out, dress up, socialize or even go grocery shopping so it’s no surprise that my outfits get a lot more basic during the obligatory winter-tire months. The surprising thing is, as the rest of the world aims to up their layering game I’m trying to wear as less layers as possible (less layers = less fainting on subway) which means fabrics like pure wool or cashmere dominate my wardrobe the most and the color scheme pretty much limits itself to white tops and black skinny jeans. Winter breaks me people, I’m broken. And this is my basic winter bitch look, as pretty looking …

Combat Winter

I know these boots are called after military wear but don’t you think there was a little, just a little nuance in it that implied people should wear these while combating winter? The minute it snowed (which is now doomsday in my world, despite some people that still get as happy as a kid when the land turns white) I knew for a fact that for the next – oh I don’t know – 4 months, these are all I’ll be wearing but I was determined to make the outfit a little more me, a little more fashionable at least. Here’s to the first of many, many snowy, slushy, icy outfit photos! . Camel sweater COS (similar here & here) . Light brown teddy coat Front Row Shop (similar here & here) . Peek A Boo

Today is a very good day. Today I’m proud of myself because while there may be some people out there saving the world, I figured out a way to wear two summer pieces (in winter) both of which are quite hard to wear by themselves yet are very much loved. This wrap skirt is without a doubt the best skirt I’ve ever bought, totally compliments my figure and super stylish but the slit is just to deep for a boy like me to wear on a regular day. The white sundress however was already an under-dress for another apron, kind of see through so it was useless by itself. Then a photo I stumbled upon on Pinterest (or was it tumblr?) gave me the idea to pair these two and wow! Who could have known they were made for each other, like Kanye and Kanye. . Not So Subtle

I know no one will believe me when I tell that I’ve always worn my button down shirts one part tucked in and the other part out ever since high school and it has nothing to do with Vetements – especially when I’m head to toe Vetements styling overdose – but it’s true. It’s like telling you always knew your team will score or how the movie will end after it happened, you have to make the declarations beforehand to be credible, but if I spend enough time in old photo albums I may find a couple of “rebellious” high school looks with my oversized shirts and super mini skirt (only time in history I wore mini skirts) to prove my point. Though I can’t deny the not so subtle Vetements references appearing in every single outfit of mine lately. . Black oversized leather jacket Zara (similar here & here) .
