My Very Own Vestiaire

I don’t know how many of you spend as much time as me online looking for a designer item that is sold out, from seasons ago, from a limited collection or just looking for a more affordable price but for me, it takes up half my life. Sure, it’s also my job, but I can’t tell you how many hours I lose everyday before eventually finding everything (and I mean EVERY SINGLE THING) on Vestiaire Collective. Case in point, these Vetements cowboy boots for which I scavenged the entire internet for months before finally scoring them on Vestiaire Collective, receiving them within days in its original box and not even a single scratch on it. For those of you who don’t know, Vestiaire Collective is (the world’s best!) marketplace for pre-loved luxury and designer fashion where you can shop the pieces directly from the closets of the world’s most stylish women. Most of the sellers are from Europe which makes the website even more unique and remarkably more fashionable compared to other marketplaces. Every item …

Red Riding Boot

Mark your calendars and celebrate with me every year the day I wore red boots (so close to Christmas which means risking a Santa vibe on top of the fact that I ACTUALLY WORE a vibrant COLOR as part of my main look) because even as I’m writing these words all I can see are the boots and it weirds me out like crazy. It feels good to get out my comfort zone every now and then but I can’t help but imagine this outfit with black boots instead, how are you people wearing colors on top of colors, prints on top of prints and still be that comfortable? Know that you’re truly amazing. You da real MVPs. . White long shirt dress Rodebjer (similar here & here) . Trench coat Lartigent (similar here & here) . Gone Rogue

No, in fact, there’s nothing rebellious about my outfit other than the fact that I’m still mad enough to go bare ankle so the name of the post is indeed referring to the latest Star Wars movie which I just saw (and LOVED) today. If you’re following me on Instagram and watched my stories you might know that I’m a big Star Wars fan, one who watches the entire trilogy at least 2-3 times a year (and the battle scenes of the prequels every now and then) and one who was skeptical when Disney first acquired the movie rights but was eventually content after watching The Force Awakens, though not completely satisfied as to why that movie was even necessary in the first place. Rogue One however, managed to exceed all my expectations with an amazing story line and an orgasmic Darth Vader scene (no further spoilers) so I’m a happy little fan today. . Combat Winter

I know these boots are called after military wear but don’t you think there was a little, just a little nuance in it that implied people should wear these while combating winter? The minute it snowed (which is now doomsday in my world, despite some people that still get as happy as a kid when the land turns white) I knew for a fact that for the next – oh I don’t know – 4 months, these are all I’ll be wearing but I was determined to make the outfit a little more me, a little more fashionable at least. Here’s to the first of many, many snowy, slushy, icy outfit photos! . Camel sweater COS (similar here & here) . Light brown teddy coat Front Row Shop (similar here & here) . Peek A Boo

Today is a very good day. Today I’m proud of myself because while there may be some people out there saving the world, I figured out a way to wear two summer pieces (in winter) both of which are quite hard to wear by themselves yet are very much loved. This wrap skirt is without a doubt the best skirt I’ve ever bought, totally compliments my figure and super stylish but the slit is just to deep for a boy like me to wear on a regular day. The white sundress however was already an under-dress for another apron, kind of see through so it was useless by itself. Then a photo I stumbled upon on Pinterest (or was it tumblr?) gave me the idea to pair these two and wow! Who could have known they were made for each other, like Kanye and Kanye. .
