A Knitted Gladys

People always told me that I’m unreasonably obsessed with Friends, knowing every line by heart and sometimes even talking about the cast as though they’re my real friends and all, but I finally admitted that it’s too much when I saw the sleeve waist-knot Céline dress for the first time 2 years ago and immediately thought of Gladys and Glynnis. Does this in any way affect my love for the show or the particular trend? I’m listening to Phoebe in the background scream at a ms pacman machine and I destroyed my Margiela for H&M dress to make this. You tell me. . Two In One

The king of any wardrobe; besides the LBD, white tee, white shirt, white cami and any denim, is the piece that 1) stands the test of time 2) is versatile and can be worn in more than one way. I’m lucky enough to have found such a piece years ago, this Vintage Ralph Lauren silk skirt doubles as a perfectly comfortable strapless dress when the season can’t handle maxi skirts anymore. . Ring My Bell

I never would have thought of getting a bell sleeve top, not in a million years, had a brand called Ellery not entered our lives changing the perception of clean cut, minimal dressing. Thanks to Kym, I now have a variety in my wardrobe I never thought I would. Of course I couldn’t walk around in bell bottom pants or huge A line skirts like an Aussi fashionista so I wore a casual pair of khakis and flat sandals like a true European tourist. . Club Linen

It’s always around this time of summer when I rediscover the wonder that is linen: pants, blazers, shorts, tablecloths, duvet covers, bed sheets – you name it and I have it. No other fabric gives that carefree, country vibe to a home or an outfit like linen does and if you can overlook the ironing issue (some things are meant to be wrinkly in life) it’ll be your favorite too. The only downside is you are going to hate anything else that aren’t linen or cotton after that point. Worth the risk. . Black long sleeve top Oysho (similar here & here) . Monochrome Display

Continuing my saga of perfectly comfortable summer outfits that all look pretty much the same, we have a monochromatic display over today’s look. Starring the camisole, something I’ve been wearing every single day lately – but please don’t think I’m a hobo who never washes her clothes, everything is so perfect about it I just had to buy more than one – surprisingly comfortable new flat sandals (it was a horrible online shopping experience but the shoes are worth it) and good ol’ crops.
