Winter Sun

If you live in a country where in a diagram, all the arrows eventually point to the answer “winter is coming”, this next thing I’ll say is going to make so much sense to you: sunglasses are actually a winter accessory. When endless snow meets the frostbite herald sunlight, you either put on sunglasses or go blind. My husband found it a little hard to accept this fact but eventually he gave in. But how could you not, especially when there’s so many beautiful eyewear to shop for in the middle of the season? The two must have designs? This Céline pair with the metal bridge (or get it for a fraction of a price *wink wink* here) or the RayBan rounds. .

Before Sunset

It was a specific rainy labour day and the fact that there is a huge tree infront of our window blocking the entrance of any ray of light made me realise that summer is officially over. I wasn’t particularly sad, since spring and autumn are my favourite seasons and I’m not a fan or hot or cold weather; but the thought of not being able to wear sunglasses everyday made me mourn a little. Especially more when I saw that adorable Karen Millen add with that incredible little ginger girl whom I can’t imagine how gorgeous will be in the future. There’s no way I can look as cool as her but still, a girl has to cover her make up free eyes and dark under eye circles. And it’s amazing to see how many different options they have out there, considering I’m having a hard time even choosing something different to eat everyday. Let’s go down the road of sunglass hall of fame…

Segmo

Only people who live in my town could possibly understand the title of this one. It was a happy sunday, sunny but chilly, my best friend who is living in another city was here, it was inevitable for us to meet at our favourite park only to watch the big game later that night (yet another reason it was a happy sunday – my team won and i’m a big time fanatic) and go ahead downtown for couple of drinks. Me trying to sport (grapple with, to be more accurate) my new hair, recently prescripted Lanvin for H&M sunnies, beloved Zara floral pants – which I used as a signal flare at the park for my friends to find me – and a cosy Mango sweater & good old oxfords. There was no monday syndrome this time. (I actually never have a  monday syndrome but ever since I’m unemployed I like to pretend that I’m working every now and then. Go along with it.)
